4.8.2.2.1 Five-second timing delay circuit.
Procedures 4.8.2.2.1a through 4.8.2.2.1j shall be

a. Set the ON-OFF switch at ON.
b. Set the TEST SELECTOR switch at 1.
c. If the HOME lamp is not lit, depress and hold the ADVANCE switch until the HOME lamp
lights.
d. Set the ON-OFF switch at OFF.
e. Connect a jumper across the VOLTAGE and LEAKAGE meter terminals. This jumper
must be as short as possible and make positive electric contacts with both meter terminals.
f. Connect the electric timer specified by 4.7b to pins B and C of the 3-pin Adapter Cables
connector.
g. Set the ON-OFF switch at ON.
h. Set the TEST SELECTOR switch at position 2.
