the graduations and markings on the reticle shall be clear, and there shall
be no flare or bright areas as the head is rotated one full turn in azimuth.
The elbow assembly shall be rotated from one stop to the other, and it must
meet the above conditions as required by 3.10.2.
4.6.27 Insulation resistance.- This test shall be conducted in accordance
with Method 302 of Standard MIL-STD-202, using Test Condition "A". Insulation
resistance measurements shall be made between insulated points and ground.
Insulation resistance values shall not exceed the values specified in 3.11.
PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY

5.1 Packaging, packing and marking.- Packaging, packing and marking
shall be in accordance with Packaging Data Sheet 8587340. The level of
protection shall be as specified in procurement document.

NOTES
6.1 intended use.- The Panoramic Telescope M115, when mounted in
Telescope Mount M137, is primarily intended to lay the 8 inch Self-Propelled
Howitzer M11O and the 175MM Self-Propelled Gun M107 in azimuth for indirect
fire.
6.2 Ordering data.- Procurement documents should specify the following:
(a) Title, number and date of this specification.
(b) Selection of an applicable level of preservation, packaging,
and packing.
(c) Applicable packaging data sheet number (see 5.1).
(d) Applicable stock number.
