6.3 Technical information package . The TIP may be obtained from US Army
Mobility Equipment Research and Development Command, ATTN: DRDME-HM, Fort
Belvoir, VA 22060.
6.4 Data requirements . The contracting officer should include such data as
technical publications, instructional materials, illustrated parts lists, and
maintenance and operation manuals to be furnished with each forklift.
6.5 Material Deterioration and Prevention Control (MADPAC) . The materials
and processes used in the construction of the forklift shall reflect the
requirements of DARCOM Regulation 702-24 (MADPAC). Assurance shall be
provided by the contractor or vendor that the material for protective finishes
used in the forklift shall provide maximum protection against various forms of
material deterioration in the applicable operating and storage environments to
which the forklift may be exposed (see 3.1).
