required by suppliers in connection with specific procurement functions
should be obtained from the procuring activity or as directed by the
contracting officer.)
3. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Fabricaiton. - The telescope shall be manufactured in accordance
with Drawing F10556368 and drawings pertaining thereto.
3.2 General specification. - The contractor shall be responsible
for adherence to, and compliance with, the following requirements of
MIL-F-13926:

Order of precedence
b.
Dimensions and tolerances
c.
Inorganic protective surface finishes
d.
Part identification and marking
e.
Workmanship
f.
Soldering electrical connection
3.3 Environmental.
3.3.1 Storage temperature. - The telescope shall show no evidence
of physical failure such as cement separation, glass breakage, or cast-
ing failure after having been exposed and thermally stabilized at temper-
atures of -80 and +160 Fahrenheit (F).
3.3.2 Extreme operating temperature. - The telescope shall meet the
applicable requirements of 3.7 while exposed and thermally stabilized at
-65 and +150F.
3.3.3 Vibration. - The telescope shall show no evidence of physical
failure due vibrated successively along three (3) mutually per-
pedicular axes. Vibration shall be a simple harmonic motion, the fre-
quency varying either linearly or logarithmically from 5 to 55 CPS in
five minute cycles for a total of 15 minutes along each of the axes, The
amplitude of vibration shall be maintained constant at 1/64 inch (1/32
Inch total excursion). Following the vibration test the telescope shall
meet all subsequent requirements.
3.4 Cleanliness.
