MILITARY SPECIFICATION
TELESCOPE,
PANORAMIC:
M117A1
This Amendment forms a part of Military Specification
MIL-T-60895 (MU), dated 19 April 1968, and is approved
for use by the U.S. Army Armament Munitions and Chemical
Command, and is available for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.

Patagraph 3.7.2: Delete "one degree" and substitute "two degrees".

Paragraph 3.7.7: Delete in its entirety and substitute the
following:
"3.7.7 Reticle  accuracy. - The angular separation between the
two 40 mil graduations on the horizontal axis shall be plus
or minus 0.5 mil.
3.7.8 Image  Wander. - The wander of the reticle image
meaxured at the eyepiece shall not exceed two degrees in
diameter for two (2) complete revolutions of the-head assembly,
In addition, the 70 MIL reticle graduation on either side shall
be visible throughout the revolutions of the head. This
requirement shall also be met with the elbow assembly positioned
against each of the swing stops."
Patagraph 3.8.2.5: Delete "1.0 mil" and substitute "2 mils

Paragraph 3.9.1: Change inch ounce readings as indicated below:
"10 to 36" in lieu of "10 to 30"
"60" in lieu of 54"
"10 to 36" in lieu of "5 to 10"
"46" in lieu "18"
"3 to 48" in lieu of "10 to 48".
