Paragraph 4.7.2.1.8: Delete in its entirety and substitute the
following:
"4.7.2.1.8 Reticle accuracy. - Angular separation
"between the two 40 mil graduations may be determined by aligning
one of the panoramic telescope's 40 mil graduation to the
corresponding mark of the projected reticle or wall target. This This
alignment may be attained by activating the elevation and
azimuth knobs. Observe coincidence between the other 40 mil
graduation of the panoramic telescope and the corresponding
mark of the projected reticle or wall target. This
coincidence must be within the limits of 3.7.7."
4.7.2.1 Image Wander. - With the panoramic and fixture
positioned as outlined in 4.7.1, align the auxiliary telescopes
optical axis to the panoramic's optical axis. With these points
in coincidence, by means of the azimuth knob, rotate the head
two full revoutions. The coincided points must not spread more
than the limit specified in 3.7.8. use the two degree circle of
the Auxiliary. Telescope's Reticle when measuring Image Wander.

Paragraph 4.7.2.5, first sentence: Delete 3.10.3. Second
sentence: Delete all after "bright".

were made. This was done as a convenience only and the Government
assumes no liability whatsoever for any inaccuracies in these
notations. Bidders and contractors are cautioned to evaluate the
requirements of this document based on the entire content
irrespective of the marginal notations and relationship to the
last previous amendment.
