* 3.4.7.2 Spare tire assembly. A spare tire assembly shall be furnished. The spare tire
assembly shall include an inflated spare tire mounted on a spare wheel or rim.
*  3.4.8 Brakes. Power brakes shall be furnished. Brake linings shall be of nonasbestos
material.
3.4.9 Steering. Power steering shall be furnished.
*  3.4.10 Tools. Tools required for exchanging a mounted tire assembly with the spare
assembly, including at least a jack, jack handle, and wheel nut wrench, shall be provided.
*  3.4.11 Accessories and equipment. Chassis equipment shall be complete with all accessories
furnished as standard equipment by the manufacturer. The following minimum equipment shall
be furnished:
(a)
Inside rearview mirror
(b)
Two padded sunvisors
(c)
Front door mounted armrest on driver's side
(d)
Driver's compartment ventilator other than window
(e)
Domelight switch operable from driver's seat.
3.4.12 Rearview mirrors. An outside rearview mirror shall be provided on both sides. The
outside rearview mirrors shall be of the Junior West Coast or low mount type incorporating a
wide angle viewing system. The upper mirror shall have a flat reflective area of not less than
35 square inches. The lower mirror shall have a convex reflective area of not less than 20 square
inches. The mirror assembly heads shall be adjustable and mounted to minimize obstruction of
forward lines of vision.
3.5 Body. The body shall be a forward control integral cab and body with steel side panels
and safety glass windows all around. Street and curbside doors, with roll-up type windows and
grab handles in addition to the door operating handles, shall be provided for the driver and
assistant driver. Split type double doors or a sliding door, with windows capable of being
opened, shall be furnished on the curbside of the cargo space. Split type double doors, with
windows capable of being opened, shall be furnished at the rear of the cargo space. The
windows on the street side corresponding to curbside door windows shall be capable of being
opened. Full length drip moldings shall be provided above the doors and windows that open.
Curbside double doors or the sliding door shall be capable of being opened from the inside. All
doors shall incorporate manufacturer's standard key locking arrangement. An assistant driver's
seat shall be furnished. Two pairs of lap type seat belts shall be installed. Cargo space,
immediately to the rear of the driver's seat, shall be not less than 100 inches in length, 53 inches
in width (exclusive of wheelhousings), and 52 inches in height.
