An air brake synchronizing controller, if required in lieu of a hydraulic brake
synchronizing controller (see 3.5.5.1).

(m) If an electrical jumper cable is not required (see 3.5.6.4).

6.3 Gasoline. The type II trailers covered by this specification are not intended for
transportation of gasoline. Federal and state vapor recovery requirements for vehicles
transporting gasoline would cause a small 500 gallon vehicle to be equipped with many items that
would far exceed in cost the benefits derived from the use of a 500 gallon trailer as opposed to
larger vehicles (trucks and semitrailers).
