4.6.4 Repair parts. Concurrent repair parts shall be tested by
disassembling 2 control assemblies previously tested in 4.6.3 and then
reassembling them using the concurrent repair parts. No hand refinement of
parts till be allowed and the assembled control assemlies shall operate and
function as intended. This test may be performed independently of the control
assembly interchangeability testing specified in 4.5.1 and at more frequent
internals using accepted drive assemblies taken from current production.
4.7 Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) (first article inspection only).
The Gun Control Assembly shall be installed in laboratory test fixtures in a
manner that will simulate actual service usage and tested to MIL-STD-461,
Methods CE03, CSO1, CS02, CS06, RE02, RS02 Part I, and RS03.
5. PACKAGING
5.1 Preservation, packaging, packing and marking. The gun control
assemblies shall be prepared, packaged, packed, and marked In accordance with
Packaging data Sheet (PDS) P11830418 for the level of protection specified in
the contract. (See 6.2)
5.1.1 Spare parts or replacement parts. Spare parts or replacement parts
shall be cleaned, preserved, packaged and packed as specified in the contract
or order.
