4.4.8.2 output characteristics. Verify by measurement that the
motor output characteristics are as specified by the torque-speed
curve defined on drawing 905D490.
4.4.8.3 Duty cycle. Verify by measurement that the motor duty
cycle is intermittent consisting of 15 seconds on and 45 seconds off
repeated 10 times maximum with rated load and terminal voltage of 28
Vdc followed by a cooling off period of 15 minutes between runs.
4.4.8.4 Motor enclosure. Verify by observation that the motor
is totally enclosed.
4.4.8.5 Connector bracket. Verify by measurement that the
connector bracket can withstand a force of 500 lbs maximum as noted
in drawing 905D490.
4.4.9 Performance tests of motor. Any motor which fails to

equipment and procedures shall be satisfactory to the contracting
officer (see 4.5.5).
4.4.9.1 Performance tests. The motor selected shall be
subjected to all the performance tests specified on the applicable
drawing. These shall include output, torque, speed and load,
current, deceleration, stall torque time, and stall condition. Test
equipment and procedures shall be in accordance with the applicable
drawing and satisfactory to the contracting officer. If any motor
fails to comply with any test requirement, it shall be classed
defective, and the lot shall be rejected.
4.4.9.2 Service life. The motor selected shall be subjected
to the service life test as specified on the applicable drawing.
Provisions shall be made for determining output, torque, speed and
load, current deceleration, stall torque time, and stall condition
on the first duty and last duty cycle.
Test equipment and procedures shall be in accordance with the
applicable drawing and satisfactory to the contracting officer. If
any motor fails to comply with the specified requirement, it shall
be classed defective, and the lot shall be rejected.
4.4.10 Environmental tests (First article only). Any motor
