4.5.4.3.3 The polarity shall be as specified in 3.4.2.1 and 3.4.2.2.
4.5.4.3.4 Repeat the above procedure at output #2.
4.5.4.3.5 The polarity shall be as specified in 3.4.2.3 and 3.4.2.4.
4.5.4.4 To measure the sensitivities as set forth in 3.4.3:
4.5.4.4.1 Connect the transformer as shown in Figure 1.
4.5.4.4.2 Adjust the signal generator to provide 15 vrms at approximately
7000 Hz.
4.5.4.4.3 Connect the dc voltmeter to output #2 of the transformer.
4.5.4.4.4 Vary the oscillator frequency 1000 Hz above and below the
center frequency for zero volt dc output. Read and record enough volt-
meter readings over the frequency range to establish the shape of the
frequency response curve.
4.5.4.4.5 At points 400 Hz above and 400 Hz below the zero volt dc
output frequency, the magnitude of the output voltage shall be 48.0
plus or minus 8.0 volts.
4.5.4.4.6 At points 800 Hz above and 800 Hz below the zero dc output
frequency, the magnitude of the output voltage shall be 70.4 plus or
minus 6.4 volts.
4.5.4.4.7 At the plus 10 volts dc output point and the minus 10 volts
dc output point, the frequency shall be 94 plus or minus 7 Hz above and
below the zero vdc frequency.
4.5.4.4.8 Repeat the procedure of 4.5.4.4 with the dc voltmeter con-
nected to output #1 of the transformer. The sensitivity shall be within
the limits of output #2.
4.5.4.4.9 The output voltage at 800 Hz below the zero dc output fre-
quency on output #1 shall be within 6.5 volts of the output voltage at
800 Hz above the zero dc output frequency on output #2.
4.5.4.5 To measure the dielectric withstanding voltage as set forth
in 3.4.4.
4.5.4.5.1 Connect the insulation tester to pins 1 and 4 of the trans-
former.
4.5.4.5.2 Apply a potential of 350 vdc for a period of one minute. There
shall be no evidence of breakdown.
