3.4.1.6.3.3.3.1 Function.
This panel shall simulate those signals that are
normally supplied to the MCS by the aircraft and provide loads where needed
or readout lights on those signals from the MCS that normally go to the air -
craft.
3.4.1.6.3.3.3.2 Form Factor.
This unit shall be 19 inches by 16-1/4
inches by 8-3/4 inches.
The weight of the unit shall not exceed 12 pounds.
3.4.1.6.3.3.3.3 Controls.
The following controls shall be provided on the
System response to the operation of the controls listed in (c)
panel face.
through (h), (n) and (r) below shall be indicated by illumination of the control itself.
(a) STATION SELECT - The Station Select Control shall be a two-
position toggle switch which shall be used to test the missile station select
wiring.
The positions shall be marked BIT and ACFT (Aircraft).
b) MSL SEL (Missile Select) - The Missile Select Control shall be a
three-position toggle switch which shall be used to energize the respective
missile circuits in the radar.
The positions shall be marked RADAR GUNS and
HEAT .
(c) CW STBY (Continuous Wave (CW) Standby) - The CW Standby
Control shall be a yellow pushbutton switch which shall be used to place the
CW Illuminator of the MCS in the standby mode.
(d) CW ON - The CW On Control shall be a green pushbutton switch
which shall be used to turn the CW Illuminator on.
(e) CW OFF - The CW Off Control shall be a red pushbutton switch
which shall be used to turn the C W Illuminator off.
- The Transmitter On Control shall
(f) XMTR ON (Transmitter ON)
be a green pushbutton switch which shall be used to turn the MCS trans-
mitter on when the RSC FUNCTION switch is in the OPR position.
