3.4.1.6.8.9.1 Waveguide Adaptor., The waveguide adaptor shall permanently
connect the output of the Transmit Coupler (2A2DG2) to the input of the
Dummy Load Coupler (2A2DC1).
The wave guide adaptor shall be installed
in place of the Wave guide Switch when the Radar Set is mounted on the bench.
The Wave guide Switch, upon removal, may be stored in the bench for re-
installation when the Radar Set is removed from the bench.
3.4.1.6.8.9.2 Bracket Assembly, A bracket assembly containing a dummy
jack shall be provided.
The jack shall mate with the Wave guide Switch
connector 2A2S1P1.
The dummy jack shall contain jumpers to bypass the
+25 V enable signal normally interlocked by the Wave guide Switch. The
dummy jack shall also contain provisions to feed the coil voltage for the
Waveguide Switch to the RAD ANT indicator on the Aircraft Simulator panel
(3.4.1.6.3.3.3.4) via the bench harness (3.4.1.6.10.1).
3.4.1.6.9 Fixture, Antenna Support.
3.4.1.6.9.1 Function.
The Antenna Support Fixture shall mount the
Anenna of the AN/APG-59 Radar Set which is mounted on the Radar Main-
tenance Table-Rack.
3.4..6.9.2 Form Factor.
The overall dimensions of the Antenna Support
Fixture shall be 45-3/4 inches by 34-5/8 inches by 75 inches with the guard
ring folded and shall be 45-3/4 diameter by 55- 1/4 inches with the guard
ring open. The weight of the fixture shall not exceed 200 pounds. The
Antenna Support Fixture shall be similar in structure to the Antenna Main-
tenance Fixture, but shall not be supplied with the accessories provided
with the Maintenance Fixture.
The Antenna Support Fixture shall be
designed for deck mounting either by bolting or welding, Two vertical
