3.4.1.9 Converter, Signal Data, CV-2946( )/AWG-9, CV-3224( )/AWG-9 and
CV-3366( )/AWG-9.  The RFTS shall provide the capability for performing the
following tests on the low pulse repetition frequency (PRF) signal data conver-
ter:
a
Air-to-air simulation
(1) Verify air-to-air acquisition function at various ranges
in both manual and automatic modes of operation.
(2)  Verify air-to-air track at various ranges, range rates,
and accelerations.
(a) Measure range to an accuracy of
10 feet plus 0.2
percent of range.
(b) Measure the amplitude of the Low PRF Video signal
in the region of 5.0 V p-p to an accuracy of
5
percent.
(c) Measure the amplitude of the Range On Target (ROT)
signal in the region of
4 volts to an accuracy
of
5 percent.
(d) Measure the amplitude of the Low PRF Polar Error
signal in the region of 18 V p-p to an accuracy of
5 percent.

Boresight ranging simulation
(1) Verify boresight range acquisition at various ranges and
note minimum acquisition and reacquisition time.
(2) Verify boresight range tracking at various ranges, range
rates, and accelerations.
(a) Measure range to an accuracy of
10 feet plus 0.2
percent of range.
(b) Measure the amplitude of the Low PRF Video signal
in the region of 5.0 V p-p to an accuracy of
5
percent.
(c) Measure the amplitude of the ROT signal in the region
of +4 V to an accuracy of
5 percent.

Automatic gain control (AGC)
(1) Verify the BIT AGC logic level state.
(2) Measure the amplitude of the pre-amp AGC signal in the re-
gion of O to -10 V to an accuracy of
