3.2.3 Service conditions
3.2.3.1 Electrical.  The ABTS shall be designed to
meet the performance requirements of this specification when
supplied with the electrical power of 3.2.2.1.  Commercial
equipment items selected as elements of the ABTS shall meet
the electrical service requirements of the manufacturer's
specifications covering these items.
3.2.3.2 Environmental.  The ABTS shall operate
satisfactorily under the environmental service conditions
specified below.

3.2.3.2.1 Organizational level.
3.2.3.2.2  Intermediate Level.  Equipment designed
for use at the intermediate level of maintenance shall meet
the following environmental requirements:
Vibration - The equipment shall withstand
a.
exposure to vibration in accordance with
MIL-STD-167, Type I.
Shock - The equipment shall withstand, with
b.
commercial equipment not installed in the ABTS,
shock pulses of 15 g amplitude for 11
milliseconds duration applied in accordance with
MIL-T-21200.
Temperature/altitude - The ABTS shall provide
c.
continuous, satisfactory operation over
temperatures ranging from zero to 45 degrees C
(+32 to +113 degrees F) at altitudes ranging
from sea level to 10,000 feet.  The maximum
nonoperating temperature shall be +71 degrees C
(+159.8 degrees F), and the minimum shall be -40
degrees C (-40 degrees F).  The maximum
nonoperating altitude shall be 50,000 feet.
