MIL-T-85031B(AS)
3.3.1 Reliability.
3.3.1.1 Operational stability.  The test set shall operate as required,
continuously or intermittently, for a period of at least 200 hours.  During
this time, it shall not be necessary to readjust any controls that are
inaccessible to the operator during normal use.
3.3.1.2 Operating life.  The test set shall have a total operating life of
18,000 hours with minimum servicing and replacement of parts.
3.4 Standard conditions.  The following conditions shall be used to
establish the normal performance characteristics under standard conditions
for performing laboratory bench tests:
a.
Temperature
Room ambient (255C)
b. Altitude
Normal ground
c.
Vibration
None
d.
Humidity
Room ambient up to 90 percent
relative humidity
e.
Input Power

phase.  115/200 volts ac 10 percent,
400 40 Hz, three phase (Wye) (phase
rotation A-B-C).
(2) Test Stand
115/200 11.5 volts ac, 60 +5 Hz,
24,000 VA, three phase (Wye) (phase
rotation A-B-C).
3.4.1 Service conditions.  The test set shall operate as required under any
of the environmental service conditions or combination of these conditions
as specified in MIL-T-17296 for shore installation equipment, except as
modified in 3.4.1.1 and 3.4.1.2.
3.4.1.1 Temperature.  The test set shall meet the specified performance
within the ambient temperature limits of 32F (OC) and 122F (50C).
3.4.1.2 Altitude.  The test set shall meet the specified performance at
altitudes between O and 10,000 feet (normal ground).
3.4.2 Warm-up time.  The time required for the test set (except the target
simulator) to warm-up prior to operation shall be not greater than 30 minutes
under standard conditions.  The time required for the target simulator to
warm-up prior to operation shall be not-greater than 2 minutes under standard
conditions.
3.4.3 Primary input power.  The test set shall be capable of required
performance when supplied input power having characteristics as specified
herein.  The input power shall be of the following types and shall be not
greater than the amounts specified, except for transients caused by drive
motor start-ups.
