3.4.7 Weight. The total weight of the test set group console shall be not
greater than 700 pounds.
3.4.8 Color and finish. The color and finish of the test set shall be in
accordance with DL412AS9000.
3.4.9 Identification plate and item markings. Nomenclature and
identification marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-130 and
DL412AS9000.
3.5 Performance. The performance of the test set group shall be as
specified herein in addition to the performance requirements specified in

3.5.1 Function and description. The function and description of the test
set is covered in NAVAIR 16-350Q169-1. The test set shall provide the
following functions (see figure 4):
a.
Transmit azimuth (AZ) and elevation (EL) proportional guidance
signals to weapon when in COMMAND OVERRIDE mode.
b.
Transmit signals to control the weapon video transmitter on or
off conditions, when commanded.
Monitor the video signal transmitted from the weapon.
c.
Test control sections having a position gyro or rate gyro.
d.
e.
Monitor the power level of both transmitted and received RF
signals.
