4.12.6 Transient voltage.  This test shall be conducted in accordance with
MIL-E-16400.
Post test data shall be in accordance with 4.5.1.2.
4.12.7 Transient frequency.  This test shall be conducted in accordance with
MIL-E-16400.

4.12.8 Power interruption.  This test shall be conducted in accordance with
MIL-E-16400.
Post test data shall be in accordance with 4.5.1.2.
4.13 Packaging inspection.  Prior to shipment, inspect the test set packaging
to determine conformance to the requirements of Section 5.
4.14 Methods of examination and test.  The right is reserved by the procuring
activity or the Government inspector to modify the tests or require any
additional tests deemed necessary to determine compliance with the
requirements of this specification and the contract.
5.
PACKAGING.
5.1 General.
Packaging shall be in accordance with the general requirements
of MIL-E-17555, supplemented as specified in 5.2 and 5.3.
5.2 Preservation.  Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase
order, preservation shall be in accordance with MIL-P-116, Method 111, Level A
(see 6.2.1).
5.3 Packing.  Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order,
packing shall be Level C (see 6.2.1).  The packaged test sets shall be packed
in fiberboard containers conforming to PPP-B-636, class weather resistant,
style optional, normal requirements.  Sealing (taping) and reinforcing
(banding) shall be in accordance with the appendix to PPP-B-636.
5.4 Marking.
In addition to any special marking specified in the contract
(see 6.2.1), each unit package, intermediate and exterior container, and
unitized load shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129.

NOTES,
6.1 Intended use.  The Test Set Group OQ-169B/DSM-96A is intended for use
with Guided Weapon Test Set AN/DSM-96A to effect a complete check of the
operational status of all Walleye data link guided weapons.  The test set
group is intended to be used in depot and intermediate maintenance activities
to test assembled weapons and to aid in fault isolation of failed weapons.
6.2 Ordering data.
6.2.1 Acquisition
requirements.
Acquisition documents should specify the
following:
a.
Title, number, and date of this specification
b. Selection of applicable levels of packaging, packing, and
preservation (see 5.2, 5.3)
c.
If special marking is required (see 5.4)
