MIL-V-62347(AT)
4.7.32 Erect to load circuitry tests. To determine conformance to 3.6.12.8.1, the launcher
shall be maneuvered to the "LOAD" enable position of zero azimuth and maximum elevation. It
shall be verified that the CPA indicators display as indicated in table VI. The angles shall then
be measured. It shall be visually verified that when load mode is selected, the erection locks
disengage and that, for a weapon station hatch open condition, the erection arm drive (to load) is
inhibited.
4.7.33 System interlock test. To determine conformance to 3.6.12.8.2 and 3.6.15.3.3, it shall
be verified that, with the launcher in the stowed mode, neither missile tube can be selected nor
armed.
4.7.34 Control panel assembly function. To determine conformance to 3.6.12.9 and
3.6.12.9.1, 24 Vdc test power shall be supplied to the Control Panel Assembly (CPA) and all
CPA indicator lights. Power on circuitry, brightness controls, circuit breaker functions, and
stow mode indications shall be verified.
4.7.35 Missile select/arm circuitry tests. To determine conformance to 3.6.15.3.1, 3.6.15.3.2
and 3.6.15.3.3, the missile select/arm circuitry for left and right launch tubes in the erect mode
shall be verified. It shall be verified, on the Control Panel Assembly (CPA) indicators and direct
inspection of the remote arming devices (RAD), that neither missile may be armed unless
selected on the CPA.
4.7.36 ITA controls test. To determine conformance to 3.6.13.1 and 3.6.13.1.1, transfer
assembly (ITA) sight controls shall be verified by selecting the 3X, 13X and night options, and
verifying optics transfers within specified time.
4.7.37 Missile umbilical continuity test. To determine conformance to 3.6.12.9.2, 3.6.15.3.2
and 3.6.15.3.3, electrical continuity between the MGS and the left and right launch tube
umbilicals shall be verified. Using an item of ITV peculiar support equipment, the missile
umbilical test device, the missile error signals and the polarity at the remote arming device shall
be verified. It shall be verified that the pre-fire, fire and wire cut signals pass from the MGS to
the test round. Hand controller trigger indicator operation shall be verified.
4.7.38 Tracking drive deadband test. To determine conformance to 3.6.12.9.2.1, the weapon
station control handle shall be deflected to 4 degrees in azimuth, the action switches shall be
depressed and the weapon station azimuth angle indicator shall reveal weapon station motion.
Test shall be repeated in the opposite direction in azimuth, and similarly for elevation and
