Formula III of FM 10-280. Any nonconformance with the requirements of 3.6.2
shall constitute failure of this test.
4.6.3 Control enclosure test.  The Control enclosure shall be tested for
the dust, automized water, icing, and hosedown requirements of UL 50.

this test.
4.6.4 Washer door switch static test.  With the washer door open, engage
the starting switch. Any nonconformance with 3.6.4 shall constitute failure
of this test.
4.6.4.1 Washer door switch Operational test .  with the washer door closed
and no water in the cylinder engage the starting switch. After 30 seconds of
operation open the door. Any nonconformance with the requirements of 3.6.4
shall constitute failure of this test.
4.6.5 Washer belt guard test.  without the washer operating, f irmly grasp
the belt guard from the rear and attempt to move it laterally. Repeat the
procedure and attempt to move the guard forward and rearward.

this test.
4.6.7 Washing machine operational test.  With all utility systems
connected, manually operate the washer without clothes. Activate
individually each intake and discharge valve.  Drain the system between each
intake test.  Activate the remaining switches and verify that each operates.
Any nonconformance with the requirements of 3.67 shall constitute failure of
this test .
4.6.7.1 Washing machine operational loaded test. Upon completion of 4.6.7
load the washer with 60 pounds (dry weight) of wool blankets (type I or II of
MIL-B-844 ) and launder using the program chart or card for wool. The program
shall conform to FM 10-280, Formula II. Verify that each cycle time and
water level conforms to Formula II. Repeat the procedure utilizing 60 pounds
(dry weight) of cotton sheets (MIL-S-36868) and lauder using the program
chart or card for cotton sheets.  The program shall conform to FM 10-280,
Formula III.  verify that each cycle time an water level conforms to Formula
III.  Repeat the procedure utilizing 60 pounds (dry weight) of the trousers
(MIL-T-44047 ) and launder using the program chart or card for the trousers.
The program shall conform to FM 10-280, Formula VIII. Verify that each cycle
