3.5 Workmanship. The clamp shall be free from any abraded, bent or burred
metal sections or foreign matter (dirt, oily or viscous materiel).
4 . QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS
4.1 Responsibility for inspection.
4.1.1 Supplier's respo nsibi Iity. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or
purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection
requirements as specified herein. Except as othewise specified, the supplier may
utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Govern-
ment. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set
forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure
supplies and services conform to prescribed requirement.
4 01 . 2 O b j e c t i v e e v i d e n c e . The supplier shall provide objective evidence
acceptable to the contracting officer that the requirement of 3.1 and Section 5
for which specific inspection has not been provided in this specification have
been satisfied.
4.2 Regular production
4 . 2 . 1 L o t t i n g . A lot shall consist of the clamps produced by one manufacturer,
at one plant, from the same materials, under essential 1 y the same manufacturing

4.2.4 and MlL-STD-105 using an AQL of 1.0 percent defective for acceptance.
