4.6.2.1 Erection Cycle and Accuracy - The displacement gyroscope shall
be so aligned that the mounting surface will be parallel to a horizontal
surface within 0.05 and power shall then be applied.  After 1 minute,
the displacement gyroscope  shall be  subjected to  scorsby  motion.
Erection shall be completed in 2-1/2 minutes in pitch and in roll after
which the pitch and roll attitude excursions shall be noted and the
average pitch and roll indications shall be computed.  The average pitch
and roll indications shall be 00 within 1/40.
The scorsby motion
shall be turned off.
4.6.2.1.1 Power Interruption - The displacement gyroscope shall be level
within 20 and shall have its power removed for 25 seconds.  During this
period, the displacement gyroscope shall be displaced through angles of
60 to 65 in pitch and in roll and then returned to its original
