SAE J410 HSLA steel having min.
50,000-psi guaranteed yield point (yp).
No permanent deformation of frame with
175 percent of rated payload (GVWR minus
curb weight) applied to the 3-each equipment
mount crossmembers in 3.11 or, for size 32
trailer, inmost critical 8-linear-feet of the
platform, when supported at tow eye and
suspension mounts on frame and when
supported at the tow eye and the rear jack
stands (for operating equipment leveling).
When specified (see 6.2, T-11), for cold region
operation, fabricate frame assembly of at least
ASTM A710, min.
Grade A, having nickel and copper additives
suitable for carrying payloads dynamically in
low arctic ambient temperatures.

300-lb. load on any l-sq.-ft. area at any one
time. Splash guards per TTMA RP No. 41 and
TMC-ATA RP-701, of anti-sail type.
