min. 3000 psi ultimate strength and inherent
cold-weather resistance.
Provide splash guards having an integral
textured splash surface of short blades or pins.
Mount TTMA splash guards to brackets and to
fenders by metal clamping strips fastened with
hex bolts and nuts thru the TTMA/TMC-ATA
standard hole pattern. Angle each guard 5- to
10-degrees inward toward the center to reduce
water mist during rainy weather.

To prevent tipping backwards, when the trailer
chassis is parked for equipment operation,
furnish a pair of commercial, trailer stabilizing
jacks.
Permanently fasten trailer stabilizing jacks to
frame.
Provide jacks of the inverted scissors type
having a swing-down, screw-actuated push
arms and ground contact pads.
Offset handle hex crank for jacks furnished
with each trailer.
Furnish jacks of the type that self-store for
travel by retracting up to the frame.
Individually adjustable for side slopes up to
5 percent with trailer level.
Each jack or the sum of each two jack rating on
each side equal to a total jack rating min.
40 percent of trailer's GVWR on the VIN plate.
Drive each two jacks, on a side, together.
Withstand static load and dynamic equipment
operation with trailer supported only by front
support and by both rear stabilizing jacks.
When self-stored for travel, locate jacks so as
