4.6.1 Test conditions.
4.6.1.1 Preparation for test. All dispensers submitted for
test shall contain all specified components and shall be completely
assembled and properly prepared for operation. The dispenser,
including all components, shall be correctly adjusted, lubricated
and serviced for use in the ambient temperature at the place of the
test; and all equipment which has been ordered shall be mounted for
immediate operation. Fuel and fluid tanks shall be full unless
otherwise specified for a particular test. The dispenser shall
operate as specified herein, without maintenance other than the
recommended maintenance in accordance with a maintenance schedule
prepared and submitted by the supplier prior to test.
Towing equipment required for the tests specified

herein but not included as Government-loaned
equipment, shall be furnished by the supplier.

Practice mines shall be furnished by the Government
unless otherwise specified in the procurement
documents (see 6.2).
The dispenser shall be checked prior to and during the

tests to determine the following:
Insure that coolant and lubrication systems are

full.
(2) Check that fuel tank and hydraulic reservoir are
maintained between full and half-full level
throughout these tests.
4.6.1.2 Test observations. Throughout all tests specified
herein, the dispenser shall be closely observed for the following
conditions which shall be considered cause for rejection.
