4.6.4.2.1 Density and pattern selections. With dispenser
warmed up and loaded with 800 practice mines; the following density
and pattern selections shall be used as a minimum.
a.  Dynamic verification of Pattern and Density selection,
three (3) runs.
(1) Run 1 - Pattern selector in No. 1, Density
selector in 0.025 mines/sq. m.
(2) Run 2 - Pattern selector in No. 3, Density
selector in 0.007 mines/sq. m.
(3) Run 3 - Pattern selector in No. 4, Density
selector in 0.001 mines/sq. m.
Vehicle speed not to exceed maximum specified speed for each
operation (see NOTE). Vehicle speed "TOO FAST" light may be used if
proof of calibration is provided.
On the test area (see 3.5.3.1.1),  for each run, launch mines
continuously from both magazines for a minimum of 328 feet (100m).
Resulting data shall be observed for compliance with the
applicable requirements of 3.5.3.1.2 and 3.5.3.1.3.

(see NOTE). Vehicle speed unacceptable light on operator's control
box may be used instead, if proof of calibration is provided.
On a test area (see 3.5.3.1.1), launch ten (10) practice mines
from each magazine at each density setting of 0.025, 0.010, 0.007,
0.005 and 0.001, respectively. The launcher may be positioned at
jog-left, jog-half-left, jog center, jog half right and jog-right
