4.6.4.3 Environmental test=   The complete dispenser properly
serviced and equipped, shall be subjected to the temperatures
specified, and observed for compliance with operational requirements.
4.6.4.3.1 Thermocouple location.  The dispenser shall have not
less than the following thermocouples installed prior to the
environmental temperature test:
a.  Engine coolant temperature:  One (1) in the engine -
cooling-jacket discharge pipe and one (1) in the coolant
inlet to the engine.
b.
Fuel temperature: In the tank.
c.  Battery temperature: In the two center cells of each
battery between the plates and at mid-depth of the
electrolyte.
d.  Ambient temperature measured at an angle of 45 degrees
and not less than three (3) feet (91 cm) from each corner of
the dispenser at engine crankshaft level.
