Step b.
With the test item de-energized, adjust the chamber test
conditions to OoC and ambient pressure.  These chamber
test conditions shall be maintained throughout this step.
After the test item temperature has stabilized, the test
item shall operate satisfactorily immediately following the
specified warmup time.
All characteristics which are likely to be affected by low
temperatures shall be checked first.  Should the time
i
required to check the test item exceed 15 minutes beyond
the warmup time, the test item shall again be stabilized at

The test item shall then be de-energized and re-established
at the temperature specified.  The above operational
sequence shall be repeated two additional times.
OoC, 10,000 Feet
Step c.
With the test item de-energized, adjust the chamber
temperature to OoC.  The test item temperature shall be
stabilized.  The test shall be energized at the highest
specified input voltage and the chamber pressure adjusted
to simulate 10,000 foot altitude.  Upon reaching the
specified chamber pressure and while maintaining the
chamber temperature, the test item shall be checked for
satisfactory operation and the results recorded.
