3.15 Temperature.  The IC shall be capable of operating
over the temperature l imits of minus fifty five degrees
centigrade (-55 C) to plus eighty degrees centigrade
(+80C) first article tests, and minus forty degrees
centigrade (-40C) to plus sixty degrees centigrade
(+60C),  lot acceptance tests.  See Tables I, III & IV also
paragraph 4.4.2.4 and 4.4.2.5.
3.16 Country of origin.  The IC shall be manufactured and
sold by a qualified producer in the United States or in another
country which is a party to one of the existing international
agreements ratified by the United States, such as the NATO
STANAG-4093, Mutual Acceptance of Qualification Approvals for
Electronic Parts, and the United States/Canada/
Australia Agreement for Qualification of Products for Non-
resident Manufacturers.
3.17 Group C environmental requirements.  The IC shall
comply with the requirements of paragraph 4.4.2.6 and to the

relevant failures result from the first or combined sample, the
I.C. supplier will perform failure analysis to determine cause
and institute corrective action.  A copy of the failure
analysis report is to be furnished to the technical agency
listed in paragraph 6.5.

3.19 Data requirements.  Data shall be recorded and
retained for all test required by this specification as
specified in 4.5.17.11.
3.20 Process controls.  The vendor will manufacture IC
devices in an approved MIL-M-38510 facility and will adhere to
the appropriate MIL-M-38510 documents.
