3.5 Weight.
The MCSK shall not weigh more than 10,000 pounds.
3.6 Marking. MCSK equipment shall be marked in accordance with
the requirements of MIL-STD-180.
3.7 Government-loaned property.
The following equipment shall be
loaned by the Government for first article and quality conformance
tests :

3.8 Workmanship.
Workmanship shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-454,
Requirement 9.
4.
QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS
4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified
in the contract or purchase order the supplier is responsible
for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified
herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase
order, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suit-
able for the performance of inspection requirements specified herein,
unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves
the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the
specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to
assure that supplies and services conform to the prescribed
requirements.
4.2 Classification of inspections. The inspection requirements
specified herein are classified as follows:
(a) First article (4.3)
(b) Quality conformance (4.4)
4.3 First article tests. First article tests shall be performed
by the contractor, after the award of contract and prior to pro-
duction, at a location acceptable to the Government. First
article approval is valid only in the contract under which it
