6.5 Safety precautions for molding compound and sealing
compound. When handling, mixing or curing the molding or sealing
compound or its constituents, suitable precautions must be taken,
as some of the constituents and compounds are toxic and exude
toxic fumes when mixed or heated. Use adequate ventilation.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing and prolonged repeated
breathing of fumes.
6.6 Data cards. In addition to the normal distribution of
records, on copy of the ammunition data card for each munition lot
shall be forwarded to: Commander, US ARDEC, ATTN: AMSMC-QAT-M
(D), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000.
6.7 Drawings. Drawings listed in Section 2 of this
specification under the heading U.S. Army Armament Research,
Development and Engineering Center, (ARDEC), may also include
drawings prepared by, and identified as, Edgewood Arsenal,
Frankford Arsenal, Rock Island Arsenal, of Picatinny Arsenal
drawings. Technical data originally prepared by these activities
is now under the cognizance of ARDEC.
6.8 Data requirements. Deliverable data required by this
specification is cited in the paragraphs listed below. The Form
DD 1423 should include distribution to AMSMC-QAT-M (D).
