3.5.4.4.3.1.2 Discretes - The following discrete signals shall be
received from the Navigation Computer on high noise immunity, balanced
line circuits:
(1) Fly TO - Illuminate FLY TO indicator light
(2) Enter - Illuminate the ENTER key
(3) Pattern Correct - Illuminate the PATT key
Each discrete shall be considered active when the
line receiver is driven to the logic "1" state. See Figure 18 for dif-
ferential signal logic definition.
Output Signal Characteristics
3.5.4.4.3.2
3.5.4.4.3.2.1 Deflection - The x deflection signal shall drive the
horizontal deflection amplifier of the CRT display subassembly.
The y deflection signal shall drive the vertical
deflection amplifier of the CRT display subassembly.
Both x and y Deflection Signals shall have the
following
characteristics:
From 0 to 6 to 8 volts deflects
(1) Scaling:
the beam one radius ( 3.8")
Nominal scaling - 1.84 volts/inch
Positive signals deflect the beam
(2) Sense:
upward and to the right.
(3) Impedance: The deflection signals shall be
capable of driving 90 ohms and 100 pf
thru a maximum cable length of 12
feet.
Blanking - The blanking signal shall provide Z axis

modulation to the CRT display subassembly. It shall have the following
electrical characteristics:
The unblanked (white) signal shall be
(1) Levels:
+5 1 volts. The blanked (black)
signal shall be 0 1 volt.
(2) Impedance: The blanking signal shall be capable
of driving 90 ohms and 100 pf thru a
maximum cable length of 12 feet.
