Q2, Q3
Components that were qualified in previous contracts for the
Housing, Timing and Fuzing do not require requalification except as
specified in paragraph 3.17.4.
3.17.1 Qualification of components.  Qualification of the
components listed abo ve shall be accomplished by the following:
(1) Electrical and mechanical laboratory tests. - The
components shall meet the requirements of the applicable
component drawings and specifications and shall be conducted
at the contractor's facility.  Unless otherwise specified on
the applicable component drawing/specification, sampling plans
for non-destructive tests shall be 77-1-2 and for destructive
tests shall be 20-0-1.
(2) Yuma Proving Ground Ballistic Testing. - The above
components must survive a 155MM gun environment (zone 7,
M119A2 charge), on a comparative basis with previously
qualified components.
