MIL-P-63332(AR)
3.l1.9.1 Image steadiness.
3.11.9.1.1 Flicker.  This requirement shall be met subsequent to allowing
a 15 second time lapse to permit stabilization of the image tube.  There shall
be no evidence of flicker or movement of the image.
3.11.9.1.2 Sparking  This requirement shall be met subsequent to
allowing a 15 second time lapse to permit stabilization of the image tube.
There shall be no evidence of sparking or arcing.
3.11.9.2 Collimation.  The requirements of 3.11.9.2.1 and 3.11.9.2.2
shall be met with the angular value specified in 3.11.9d changed to 66 degrees.
3.11.9.2.1 Elevation.  A line of sight which Is originally perpendicular
to Datum Plane "D" shall emerge parallel to Datum Plane "D" within 0.5 mils.
3.11.9.2.2 Deflection.  A line of sight which is originally perpendicular
to Datum Plane "D" shall emerge parallel to Datum Plane "D" within 0.5 mils.
3.11.9.2.3 Image tilt.  The requirements of 3.11.9.3.1 and 3.11.9.3.2
shall be met with the angular value specified in 3.11.9d changed to 66 degrees.
3.11.9.3.1 Unity power system.  The image of a target line which is
originally perpendicular to Datum Plane "A" shall emerge perpendicular to
Datum Plane "A" within 2.0 degres of arc.
3.11.9.3.2 Nine power system.  The image of a target line which is
originally perpendicular to Datum Plane "A" shall emerge perpendicular to
Datum Plane "A" within 2.0 degrees of arc.
3.11.9.4 Parallelism of reticle and image  The image of a target line
which is originally parallel Plane"A" shall be parallel within 1.0
degree of arc to the 600 meter range line.
3.11.9.5 Boresight movements.  The requirements of 3.11.9.5.1, 3.11.9.5.2
and 3.11.9.5.3 shall be met by the azimuth and elevation boresight movements.
3.11.9.5.1 Excursion range.  This requirement shall be met with the bore-
sight cross originally in coincidence with an incident line of sight which is
perpendicular to Datum Plane "D".  The boresight movements shall provide a
minimum of 6.0 mils movement in each direction simultaneously as read on the
boresight scales.
3.11.9.5.2 Reticle shift.  Changing the direction rotatation of the bore-
sight knobs, through the  specified in 3.11.9.5.2 shall not cause the
reticle to deviate more than 0.10 mil in a direction perpendicular to the
intended movement.
