3.11.4 Correction counter setting - affect on elevation level
Any change in position of the elevation level vial bubble
shall not be greater than the thickness of a graduation line when
the +50 and -50 mil values are set into the correction counter.
3.12.1 Torque. The running torque required to operate the
following knobs shall be within the0 values 0 specified for standard
ambient temperature of +60 to +90 F, (+16 to +32 c), and shall
not exceed the values specified for extreme operating temperatures:
At0 -50 F and +150 F 0
At +60 F to +90 F o
(-46 C and +65 C)
(+16 to 32 C)

3.13 Counter numerals. With the unit digit of each counter
centered in the aperture of the cover, the remaining numbers shall
be in alignment within one-sixteenth inch.

ranging from dusk into night.
3.14.2 Counters. The numerals on the elevation and correction
counters shall be distinguishable when observed under any ambient
light conditions, ranging from dusk into night.
3.14.3 External tritium contamination. There shall be no trace
of Tritium in excess of 1000 disintegrations per minute (dpm)/100 sq
cm on the external surfaces of the quadrant.
3.15 Interchangeability. Quadrant interchangeability shall be
verified by insertion, seating, and subsequent removal of the
maximum fit gage into the quadrant-s mating surface.

reliability assurance tests as follows:
The Quadrant shall meet the requirements of storage and
operating temperature of 3.6.1 and 3.6.2.
b. The Quadrant shall be shocked and conform to the requirements
of paragraph 3.6.3.
