3 . 3 . 2 . 8 P a i n t i n g .  Each item to be painted as determined by
r e l a t e d drawing requirements shall be cleaned and painted in
a c c o r d a n c e with the procedures outlined in the applicable drawings.
I n the absence of a specific drawing requirement, painting shall
b e in accordance with MIL-STD-808, yellow color nr, 13538, film
designation DG.  F i n i s h processes shall be in accordance with
MIL-STD-808, Type I exposure, finish code F-304 for aluminum and
a l u m i n u m base alloys and finish code F-103 for all ferrous
alloys.
B r a k e fluid shall conform to W-B-680.
3.3.2.9 Brake fluid.
3 . 3 . 2 . 1 0 I d e n t i f i c a t i o n o f p r o d u c t ,  E x c e p t as noted in the
p r o c u r i n g document, e q u i p m e n t , assemblies, and parts shall be
m a r k e d for identification in accordance with MIL-STD-130 and
a p p l i c a b l e drawings.  T h e identification plate shall be in
accordance with MIL-P-15024.
3 . 3 . 3 Workmanship.  T h e t r a i l e r , i n c l u d i n g a l l p a r t s a n d
a c c e s s o r i e s , s h a l l be fabricated in a manner that will insure that
t h e c r i t e r i a o f a p p e a r a n c e , f i t and adherence to specified
t o l e r a n c e s shall be observed.  P a r t i c u l a r a t t e n t i o n s h a l l b e g i v e n
t o neatness and thoroughness of marking of parts and assemblies,
p l a t i n g , printing, riveting, machine screw assemblage and welding.
A l l parts shall be free from burrs and sharp edges which might
m a r associated equipment or cause injury. to using personnel.
Workmanship shall be in accordance with MIL-A-2550.
3.4 Maintainability.
3 . 4 . 1 Wheels and tires.
3.4.1.1 The inside tires shall incorporate a valve stem that
allows access for inflating the tires.
3 . 4 . 1 . 2 The tires and wheels shall be capable of being removed with
s t a n d a r d or commercial tools.
3 . 4 . 1 . 3 Dual wheel assembly shall be such that outer wheel can be
removed independent of inner wheel and such that the inner wheel and
outer wheel can be removed simultaneously.
3.4.2 Brakes.
3 . 4 . 2 . 1 The brakes shall have the c a p a b i l i t y of being a d j u s t e d
w i t h o u t removal of wheel assembly.
