MIL-T-48621A (AR)
3.5.3 RF IN.
a.  The operating input power range shall be 10 milliwatts
(+10 DBM) minimum, and 100 milliwatts (+20 DBM) maximum.
b.
The maximum allowable non-operating input power shall be
200 milliwatts (+23 DBM).
The above operating limits shall be met over the
frequency range of 9145 to 9250 MHz.
3.5.4 RF OUT.
For a signal input of 10 milliwatts (+10 DBM), with the
a
RF LEVEL control set to its fully clockwise position, the signal
level at the RF OUT connector shall be -9 + 2 DBM. With the RF
LEVEL control set fully counterclockwise, the signal level at the RF
OUT connector shall be at least 12 DB down from the reading taken
with the RF LEVEL control fully clockwise.
With the MODE switch in the INTL or EXT TEST mode, and
b.
the OPER/TEST switch in OPERATE BAND 1, BAND 2, or BAND 3, the level
of FM modulation on the signal by the reference oscillator shall be
adjustable over the range of 27 to 33 DB below the carrier, as
determined by the setting of the RF LEVEL control.
3.5.5 NOISE OUT.
With the MODE switch in the EXT TEST or OPER position,
the NOISE OUT Port shall provide a demodulated signal from the FM
demodulator suitable for external spectral analysis, of other
measurements.
b.
With the MODE switch in the EXT TEST position and the
OPER/TEST switch set to +12 VB, the NOISE OUT port shall be capable
of providing a 0.8 volt peak-to-peak minimum signal terminated into
50 ohms.
With the MODE switch in the EXT TEST or OPER mode, the
NOISE OUT port shall provide a signal for the measurement of the
internal reference attenuators, as dictated by the positions of the
OPER/TEST switch:
