(i) A wall mounted cabinet shall be installed above the access
doors for storage.
3.5.9.5 Additional equipment. When specified (see 6.2), the
following additional items of equipment, as specified, shall be
furnished:
(a)
One blood bank refrigerator, Puffer-Hubbard Model BB-7 or
equal, installed in the laboratory area on the streetside
below the hinged work counter.
One refrigerated centrifuge with rotor and one extra set of

cups, DuPont Sorvall Model RC-3B or equal, installed in the
laboratory area on curbside adjacent to laboratory/reception
area partition.
One blood bank refrigerator, Puffer-Hubbard Model BB-7 or
(c)
equal, installed in the laboratory area on curbside adjacent
to rear work counter.
Formica, or equal, surfaced counter installed above the
(d)
refrigerator in recovery area for coffee brewer mounting.
Coffee brewer, including three decanters and three warming
(e)
plates, secured to the counter above the refrigerator in the
recovery area.
Two cell-washing systems with distribution assembly, DuPont
(f)
"MOHN" or equal, stowed securely within vehicle.
One optical projection balance, Torbal Model PL-12D or
(g)
equal, stowed securely within vehicle.
(h)
One forced air incubator stowed securely within vehicle.
(i)
Six Immufuge centrifuges, Dade or equal, stowed securely
within vehicle.
Four blood shaker and weight monitor devices with mobile
(j)
case and calibration weight, SEBRA Model 102 or equal, stowed
securely within vehicle.
One Hematron dielectric sealer, Fenwal or equal, stowed
(k)
securely within vehicle.
3.5.10 Sound system. A sound system including a solid state
amplifier, an AM/FM radio/cassette tape recorder unit and four ceiling
flush mounted speakers shall be provided. The amplifier shall include a
microphone and cord, and connectors to connect additional sound
equipment. One speaker shall be installed in each of the four areas
specified (see 3.5.10.1 through 3.5.10.4). Speakers shall be provided
with individual volume controls and conveniently located to permit easy
access. The sound system shall perform satisfactorily with all
equipment in operation.
