drawing.
Operational test. The sample valves shall be subjected to the
4.5.6.5
firing current test detailed in 4.4.4.13 and the visual inspection detailed
in 4.4.4.14.
Test procedures, sample squibs.
4.5.7
Bridge wire resistance, prior to firing. The resitance of
4.5.7.1
the squib bridge wire shall be determined. A current of 0.01 amperes
maximum shall be applied to the bridge lead wires. Resistance shall
not be less than 0.6 ohms nor more than 1.2 ohms.
Insulation resistance, prior to firing. The sample squib
4.5.7.2
shall be subjected to a potential of 500 50 volts rms, 60 cps, for 1
secon minimum, applied between the bridge lead wires (connected together)
and the case of the sample squib. Resistance shall be 2 megohms minimum.
Auto-ignition, low temperature. The sample squibs shall be
4.5.7.3
subjected to the test detailed in 4.4.4.2.
No-fire current. The sample squibs shall be subjected to the
4.5.7.4
test detailed in 4.4.4.12.
Firing current. The sample squibs shall be subjected to the
4.5.7.5
test detailed in 4.4.4.13.
Test data sheets. All test data shall be recorded on data
4.5.8
sheets by the supplier. Data sheets shall contain, but are not limited
to, the following information:
